Lenovo Lemon 3 May Step Out Into The World At MWC 2016
The phone sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
It looks like Lenovo won’t unveil any flagship smartphones at MWC 2016 even though it’s one of world’s largest mobile phone vendors. Note, that the Lemon 3 would have a different moniker whenever it is launched in India.
In addition, the Lenovo India Twitter handle reads, “A gorgeous new device has been engineered from scratch to deliver the #Knockout punch”.
The Lemon 3 had a China launch a little while ago, and was priced at 699 Yuan, approximately Rs 7,300. Also there was a teaser image attcahed which shows the upper half of the handset’s back panel, that appears similar to the Lenovo Lemon 3 smartphone. Well, they aren’t done yet as the company has plans on releasing an worldwide variant which will be shown off at MWC 2016. It is also possible that the device may be announced with another name as the Lemon series is considered exclusive in China.
The caption of the teaser image pointed out that the device is definitely launching at the MWC 2016. Coming to the specifications of the device, it is thought that it will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC, 2 GB RAM, a 5-inch display and a metal body.
The first generation Lenovo A6000 was launched last January 2015. It is said to have a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Meanwhile, the secondary camera features a 5-megapixel shooter for selfie and video calling purposes.
Finally, the phone will run on the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system, given that Lenovo does not decide to add Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the new phones. It is backed by a 2,750mAh battery.
The A6000 is a dual-SIM smartphone, which supports LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and weighs 128 grams.
