27-year-old RSS worker hacked to death in front of parents
The deceased is Sujith (27) from Aroli Assad Colony.
BJP has called for a protest in Kannur, Pappinessery and Azhikode against the killing of the RSS worker.
Sujith was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Around 11.30pm yesterday, the attackers rang the bell at the family’s house in Pappinisseri and when Sujith’s brother opened the door, they stormed in, dragged the sleeping RSS worker out of bed and beat him up before hacking him. His parents who had tried to prevent the assailants from attacking their son were injured in the attack.
State president Kummanam Rajasekharan has accused the CPI(M) of pursuing the politics of violence against its adversaries in the State.
BJP District President Satyaprakash said, “CPM is doing this to hide their embarrassment in the arrest of their district secretary P Jayarajan”. He pointed out that his party was ready for talks with the CPM leaders to end the violence but the latter rejected his initiative.
If it comes to be proved that the CPM activists killed Sujith, wouldn’t it then sound a little absurd to hear the Left throwing a fit about the attacks on JNU students in Delhi?
Kannur: A fierce blame recreation is on over the murder of a 27-yr-previous RSS employee in Kerala.
“In Kannur, attacks on BJP and RSS workers are a continuing affair”.
The move has led to implication of several senior CPM leaders in some sensational cases. “This is not an isolated incident”, he added. MV Jayarajan, holding the charge of party district secretary temporarily in the absence of P Jayarajan, also made claims on these lines. Police have booked a case and begun investigation.
