Charlize Theron and Sean Penn Secretly Engaged

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron seem to have taken their relationship to the next level. Reportedly, Sean Penn, 54, proposed Theron, 39, on their trip to Paris last November.

The Oscar winners, who have been friends for many years, first fueled relationship rumors when they were seen spending holidays together in Hawaii. Since then, they have been spotted on many occasions. Sean is often seen out with Theron’s 3-year-old adopted son, Jackson.

If the couple plans to tie the knot, it would be the first marriage for Theron, who split from Stuart Townsend in 2010 after nine years of dating. Sean, however, was married twice before- to Madonna and Robin Wright.  The Milk actor has two children with ex-wife Robin, daughter Dylan and son Hopper.

The couple has been working together on their new project The Last Face, in South Africa. Their relationship seems to have gone down well with Sean’s children. Sean’s 23-year-old model daughter Dylan Penn admitted that Charlize reminded her of her mother Robin and also revealed that Theron is the only woman after her mother who could shut her dad up.

The longtime friends who became an official couple about a year ago, have openly displayed their affection for eachother in recent months. On March 2, 2014, Sean and Mad Max: Fury Road star Charlize took the Oscars by storm. They were seen cozying up to each other at the event and then at an after party at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills. The pair looked adorable when they attended the premiere of Charlize’s movie A Million Ways to Die in the West on May 15, 2014.

The Prometheus actress and Sean Penn were snapped as they stepped out for the first time since the news of their secret engagement broke. There was no ring but a source revealed that that the two are committed.
