Giants DE Pierre-Paul shows X-Ray of hand
The 2015 season did not go as planned for the Giants who, along with the issues with Pierre-Paul, also experienced another losing season for the fourth consecutive year. Something I knew I had to get done at the end of the season.
We can see from the X-ray that his index finger only extends to the knuckle, while his thumb is deformed.
Despite this, he still managed to return to the field, being placed on the active roster by the Giants in Week 9 of the season.
JPP previously posted pictures before and after surgery and has now switched the avatar on his Twitter and Instagram pages to an X-ray of his hand.
No word yet on Pierre-Paul’s plans for this July 4.
Pierre-Paul, 27, missed eight games this season as a result of the injury but made his debut in Week 10 and finished the year with one sack and 26 combined tackles. The same is true of Ayers, as the tag could cost upward of $15 million for defensive ends.
Pierre-Paul has twice been named to the Pro Bowl during his career in NY and more importantly was able to be part of a Super Bowl-winning team thanks to the Giants 2012 victory over the New England Patriots. But that was before a freak firework accident took off one of his fingers.
