Clinton, Sanders war over Wall Street escalates
The former president also raised the voter file data breach from a year ago, which resulted in the firing of a Sanders staffer.
Bill Clinton attended a campaign event in New Hampshire on Sunday and attacked Bernie Sanders, accusing his supporters of sexism.
“I have no idea what they’re talking about or who they are talking to”, she told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in an interview set to air later Tuesday.
“Hillary Clinton is on the waiting list and about nine months from now the United States is going to give birth to a president, and I am praying that it is going to be a girl”, the pastor said, adding later that he was “just proud to have Hillary Clinton in our city”. Look we don’t want that crap….Anybody who is supporting me that is doing the sexist things – we don’t want them.
So Sanders has explicitly stated that the Bernie Bros do not represent himself or his campaign, yet Clinton continued to imply that Sanders was complicit in the sexism seen in some of his supporters. “Sen. Sanders took about $200,000 from Wall Street firms, not directly, but through the Democratic Senate campaign committee”.
And amid her decline, reports have popped up of an imminent campaign shakeup.
“I don’t have any insight into her position on this”, Hillary told Newscenter 5’s political reporter Janet Wu about Warren’s endorsement.
Clinton said Sanders’ supporters use misogynistic language to attack his wife and anyone else who supporter her.
According to polls of Democratic voters in New Hampshire 64 per cent of women under the age of 45 support Mr Sanders, and only 35 per cent support Mrs Clinton, who would be America’s first female president.
Bill Clinton seemed to hedge his criticism at times, saying “I gotta be careful of what I say”, but in his speech here, he seemed to do exactly the opposite.
“I’m very committed to them”. The top reason that voters support Sanders is that he supports issues that are important to them.
Hillary Clinton will likely be Bern-ed in New Hampshire, as the Vermont has nextdoor neighbor status in the state.
Sanders’ campaign responded by accusing the Clinton campaign of spreading “falsehoods” and charged that the Clinton campaign has become “increasingly negative and dishonest”.
The Vermont senator also ripped a key Clinton surrogate, predicted a close race in New Hampshire’s upcoming primary and even exuded confidence that he will do well in SC. “That’s what they offered”, she said with a shrug.
She said the Affordable Care Act was a major accomplishment and she wants to build on it.
Bill Clinton has lashed out at Bernie Sanders accusing the socialist senator’s followers of making “sexist” comments about his wife.
