Hillary Clinton campaigns in Las Vegas valley
While Clinton has used President Obama’s super PAC to justify her own, she will have little success pushing the same excuse against Trump, who can criticize the President in ways that Bernie Sanders, as a Democratic candidate, never could.
Hillary Clinton continued pressing her new line of attack against Bernie Sanders at a rally here Saturday, characterizing the Vermont senator as a “single issue candidate”.
Although Clinton obviously has more foreign affairs experience from being Secretary of State for four years, she still may not exhibit the most wisdom.
They were followed by Senator Marco Rubio of Florida with 15 percent support and Ohio Governor John Kasich with 9 percent support. African American voters also made up 15 percent of the Democratic caucus electorate in 2008. And she accused Sanders of trying to shade the truth about what she said would be a 40 per cent increase in the size of the federal government in order to implement his policies.
“I am constantly living with fear, because I know at any moment I can be separated from my son and lose everything I have earned, and my family will be torn apart like many other families”, she said.
Clinton’s supporters have dismissed Sanders’ victory in New Hampshire’s primary by pointing out the “firewall” she will have in upcoming states, especially in SC with the support of minority voters.
“The Clinton campaign takes every single thing that comes out of his mouth, twists it and distorts it and throws it back”, said top Sanders strategist Tad Devine after the debate.
But Clinton was put on the spot by the controversy unleashed by two high-profile backers, the feminist icon Gloria Steinem and another former secretary of state, Madeleine Albright. Because if we were going to achieve everything about banks and money and politics, would that end racism?” she said, as Sanders sat in front of her. “Would that make it automatically going to happen that people will be able to get the jobs they deserve, the housing the need, the education their children should have?… “I was not that candidate”.
Both candidates pointed to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death, saying much is at stake. On that front, Clinton turned to a familiar talking point, saying a Sanders presidency would force the country to “start all over again” in making health care affordable for Americans, and claiming ownership of the Affordable Care Act.

Despite the drubbing, nationwide poll data suggests Clinton can still hope for solid support from the female constituency as the primary race intensifies, heading next to Nevada and SC.
This week she received the support of the powerful political arm of Congressional Black Caucus in Washington.
Appearing on “The Lead” Friday, Neera Tanden, a longtime Clinton adviser who is now the president of the left-leaning Center for American Progress, told CNN’s Jake Tapper that although Clinton needs to be more inclusive in her speeches, the criticism is sexist.
In her closing remarks, Clinton – who was aggressive throughout the night following her defeat in the New Hampshire primary – said ending economic inequality and power of Wall Street is important, but so is addressing issued faced by different communities in America.
