Top four finish unlikely for Man U: Van Gaal
Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal, has admitted that their best chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League, is winning the Europa League. That would leave Guardiola without Champions League football during his first year at Manchester City – and leave Manchester United fans very satisfied indeed. It was Manchester United’s decision that it would happen on the first of July, which didn’t please Everton or Bill Kenwright or anybody.
Aside from Neville, rumors are also building that former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is being considered as Louis van Gaal’s replacement.
The Sun ponders over whether or not United will sack van Gaal and appoint Jose Mourinho before the Red Devils take on Arsenal at Old Trafford on 28 February.
