Thursday Weather: Windy With Record Warmth
High winds return once again to the Cody Foothills area as a high wind warning will go into effect starting at noon Thursday (Jan. 18).

This includes the Rocky Mountain Front, Cut Bank, down towards Great Falls, Helena, and Lewistown.
Rain, and potentially snow, is in the forecast for Thursday.
With strong winds forecast in the Reno-Sparks area today, be sure to check with your airline if flying out of the Reno airport.
Meteorologist Ryan Rose says strong winds could cause hard driving conditions, especially along north-south highways. Some gusts could be significant enough to cause property damage, the weather service added.
A storm system bringing heavy rain began moving into the coastal parts of southern ME about 5:30 p.m. The strongest winds are likely from later afternoon into early evening, when showers and possible thunderstorms cross eastern MA. Highs will be in the upper 60s Saturday with upper 50s on Sunday with mostly sunny skies.
Shortly before 7 p.m., the weather service was reporting winds of 21 miles per hour at the Portland International Jetport, with gusts to 33 miles per hour.
