New ‘Hunger Games Mockingjay’ trailer teaser the end of the game, traps

Winter is coming to Panem in “The Hunger Game of Thrones: Jon Snow Must Die”, a new parody video from YouTube filmmaker David Elmaleh that pits District 12’s Katniss Everdeen against Panem’s Lord Commander Jon Snow.

With traps everywhere and unseen enemies confronting them from all angles, they soon realise the stage is set for “the 76th Hunger Games“.

For one last time we are going to see Lawrence star alongside Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson, and Elizabeth Banks, while we will get a closer look at the likes of Natalie Dormer and Julianne Moore as Cressida and President Coin.

So we get Katniss taking down Jon’s love Ygritte with an arrow, Jon threatening Katniss’ life and Gwendoline Christie (who appears in both the Hunger Games and Game of Thrones) doing double duty with her Mockingjay trailer appearance and a fight scene from an earlier series of the HBO drama.

“Mockingjay Part 2”, being released November 20, again stars Jennifer Lawrence but also includes scenes with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The blockbuster Hunger Games franchise has taken audiences by storm around the world, grossing more than $2.2 billion at the global box office.
