A leaked video reveals a lot of details about Samsung’s Galaxy S7
Perhaps Samsung is opting to use microUSB for that reason, which is only delaying the inevitability of the new USB Type-C standard. The announcement says that the upgrade will come or has come out last February 15. The Inquirer report cited that a Samsung spokesperson revealed that the Galaxy Note 6 will be coming to Europe in August, perhaps to counter the criticism Samsung got from not releasing its predecessor in the region past year. The main department where we expect the LG G5 to give some dust to the Samsung Galaxy S7 is the camera department. It does show that the back of the Galaxy S7 will have a contoured back on the side edges that’s similar to the Galaxy Note 5.
The smartphone also packs a 12-megapixel rear camera, IP68 (or IP67) certification for water resistance and a 2,800mAh battery, Android Authority reports.
That’s what Samsung will be saying Sunday when it shows off its newest flagship smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The certification highlights the battery capacity of the device, which is 3,300mAH, and not 4,300mAH as was claimed earlier. Either way, with the launch date creeping ever closer and following on from the 360 point, Samsung today has announced that those who are tuning into the launch event, can do so in 360-video. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with display resolutions 1,920×1,080 pixels. Rumors also suggest the return of expandable microSD storage, letting you boost the number of photos and other items you can keep on your device.
Samsung hasn’t unveiled much information on the specifications of the S7.
We’ll be reporting live from the Samsung event to bring you all the latest, so stay tuned.
