‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Has Hilariously Bad Geography Knowledge
Aside from their trip, they struck it big in the Bonus Round, coming away with a total of $60,432.
During Wednesday’s Wheel of Fortune, the contestant’s geography skills were put to the test after he and his wife Keri correctly solved the prize puzzle, “Gondola Ride Through Venice”. Without hesitation, David answered, “Paris”, which, is neither a country nor in Italy, where you’ll find Venice.

Though its notoriously smarter, sister show Jeopardy! is certainly no stranger to goofs, this Wheel of Fortune blunder is one for the books. The entire debacle unfolded to the horror of his wife Keri, who desperately asks, “Do we still get it?”
Even she seemed a little unsure of where Venice is, and was only able to answer “Italy” as Sajak revealed their holiday destination.
Sajak briefly lost his composure before replying, “Apparently you know your husband well”. Keri asked Sajak to uproarious laughter from the audience, as well as the host himself.
