A high school prep team showdown between Gilmour Academy girls varsity and Northeast Ohio Prep ended with a score of 108-1 on Wednesday night, as reported by WKYC-TV.
“Our intent was to not run anything up, and we took steps to not disrespect our opponent”, he said. “We let them shoot”.
“At Northeast Ohio College Preparatory School, our scholars are taught to embody respect, responsibility, and relentlessness”, the losing school said in a statement released Thursday. All three characteristics were on display yesterday.
Northeast missed all 28 field-goal attempts with its only point coming from the free-throw line on four attempts.
Northeast Ohio College Prep finished 1-12 on the season. For the sake of good competition, we all hope that the match will be more competitive than their last game.
