Batman v Superman’s Gal Gadot addresses Wonder Woman critics
Regardless, the new Wonder Woman strikes a provocative pose in a dotted lace bra and sheer stockings while lounging in a hammock for Interview Magazine. The 30 year old actress and mom of one earlier said that she wanted to inspire people, especially women, in the roles she takes and she is glad to be able to do that with her recent superhero movie.
“There’s a lot of responsibility [associated with the part]”, the actress said to Interview. “It’s going to be an incredible ride, knock on wood”, Gadot said.
Along with Gadot as Wonder Woman, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Ben Affleck as Batman. The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actress got the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott treatment and appears as sultry as ever before their lens, making for a captivating image.
DC’s Grant Morrison also weighed in on the issue stating that Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is not what the original creators of the character meant for her. Morrison notes that while Wonder Woman is a warrior, she is meant to be something more than that. I always played ball outside in the backyard. “I hope people are going to love it”, she added. You’ll become something of an emblem, I would imagine, of cinematic feminism.
But, she has let go of her dreams to be a lawyer in order to pursue her acting career.
Although she works hard on set, Gadot always manages to find time for her “supportive” husband and her daughter, Alma. And it’s okay. But for me, it’s my job.
As Gal Gadot’s preparations for taking on the role of Wonder Woman, the former Miss Israel detailed, “I work out a lot now with Wonder Woman. They’re looking for the girl”, she previously recalled. “…I told him, ‘Listen, it’s all in English”. I still enjoy doing modeling because I feel like I’m acting in a few way.
“I didn’t get the part eventually, but I told my agent, ‘If anything else comes up, let me know”. A month later, she nabbed the lead role in a TV show in her native Israel.
