Quantum Break Has “Gone Gold”
Remedy‘s Sam Lake announced on the Quantum Break Facebook page that the game has gone gold.
Quantum Break is also coming to the PC, as a Windows Store exclusive, which was a really big surprise for the community. However, Microsoft seemed to go to great lengths to keep fans happy, offering one of their first cross-buy promotions for Quantum Break.
Remedy Entertainment is trying to do something different with Quantum Break, blending a live action series with the game, and with the players influencing the choices. Saves will also be shared between the two platforms, allowing gamers to switch between Xbox One and PC easily. The PC version of the game is being handled in-house, rather than by an external studio.
Having claimed that the game was “so close” to being finished just last month, this news is sure to appease every Quantum Break fan out there.
The best news about this announcement is that it’s unlikely that the game will be delayed a third time. The recently announced release date of April 5 is not going to get changed again. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
