On Thursday, a national television network reported that the Democrat from SC would be endorsing Clinton ahead of the primary in the state on February.
These party leaders and elected officials can change their minds.
After the contests in Iowa and New Hampshire, Sanders has a small 36-32 lead among delegates won in primaries and caucuses.
The New York Times reports the Clinton campaign is working to calm donors anxious about the outcome of the Nevada caucuses.
“Blue-collar, white Democrats have been a major source of Clinton’s defection”, said Shaw.
