Bill Clinton ramps up attacks on Sanders as NH primary nears
The former president referred to reports that Mr Sanders had taken part in Democratic Party fundraising events where wealthy donors gave more than $30,000 a year each. Sanders won the youth vote in Iowa with a stunning 84%, and polling in New Hampshire indicates that 64% of women under 45 are “feeling the Bern”.
Last month, Western Journalism reported what viewers were noticing in regards to the health of former president Bill Clinton: His hands shake constantly. “People voting, particularly in a Democratic primary and I would hope even voting in the Republican primary, care about the disgrace of what’s happened”.
Hillary Clinton hands off her food order Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Puritan Backroom restaurant in Manchester, N.H. We’ll be happy to get you there. Friday in Manchester Clinton stood on stage with New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan, four women US senators and the woman for whom an equal pay law is named, Lilly Ledbetter. “I just want you to think”.
Clinton barely squeaked by a win in Iowa, only to head into New Hampshire with a 21-percentage point deficit to self-declared socialist contender Bernie Sanders, as some polls said.
Clinton has seen some traction, as she has opened up about her challenges as a woman in the running, with women’s rights organizations like the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Emily’s List, the National Organization for Women, Feminist Majority Foundation and NARAL Pro-Choice America, among others, extending their support.
Hillary Clinton is a female. “If she were really so weak on Wall Street, would there really be two hedge fund managers setting up two super PACs and spending millions of dollars to attack her?”
The former secretary of state said Monday that she understands the anger motivating Sanders’ young supporters, but blamed their feelings on President George W. Bush’s administration, not Barack Obama’s.
Stumping in Milford on Sunday, Bill Clinton criticized Sanders for excerpting language complimentary of him from newspaper endorsements of Hillary, and said Sanders supporters had gone after journalists like Joan Walsh with sexist attacks for their support of Clinton.
Jones, who said she’s “concerned about the 1 percent, the wealthy having more and more”, added Granite Staters are generally procrastinators during the primary.
Both interventions backfired on Mrs Clinton as many young women said they were “insulted” to be told they should vote purely on the basis of their gender. It feels like this is who individuals want as a candidate, not just people who have money and corporations.
