IPhone 5SE, iPad Air 3 – What To Expect From Apple in March
You will be spoilt for choices when it comes to Apple tablet so which one should you be getting, the Apple iPad Mini 4, Apple iPad Air 2 or the Apple iPhone Pro.
Gadgets reported that the A9 and the A9X (tablet) SoCs that are expected to power the iPhone 5se and iPad Air are now residing only in iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPad Pro models.
Previous reports suggested that Apple will be launching Apple Watch 2 along with iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3 at an event in March.
Bloomberg has the scoop, and has heard from “somebody familiar” with Apple’s plans that the firm plans to equip the 4in iPhone 5SE with the same A9 chip found inside its newest smartphones.
We’ve received the strongest indication yet as to the identification of the chips bound for the forthcoming iPhone 5SE and iPad Air 3.
If you are on a budget then you might want to avoid the iPad Pro and this is due to the tablet being the most expensive.
Earlier rumors stated that this year’s March event will bring new bands for the wearable which includes a Sports Band and a black Milanese loop band.
Manufactured for entry level users who mainly prefer smaller and cost-effective phones, the iPhone 5se features a 4-inch display and 1GB of RAM with a 1624 mAh battery. This A9 chip, which Apple claims is twice as powerful as the A8 chip before it, will reportedly be paired with 1GB of RAM. It is expected to be available in color variants gold, rose gold, silver, and space gray. Lastly, the iPhone 5se will also come with always-on Siri feature.
The iPad Air 3 is likely to feature a design that’s similar to the iPad Pro and could get its 4 speaker system in addition to the new A9x processor. It is also believed to be armed with a Smart Connector for accessories like a Smart Keyboard. A LED flash was also tipped to be incorporated in the main rear camera of the device-which, if proven to be true, will be a first of its kind for any prior iPad models to date.
