Here’s Every Aussie Telco’s Samsung Galaxy S7 Launch Plans

While the GalaxyS7 comes with a 5.1-inch size screen and a 3,000mAh battery, the S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch screen with a 3,600mAh battery. The U.S. will only receive 32 GB variants of the devices while some regions will receive a 64 GB version alongside the 32 GB version.

The S7 family’s rear-facing camera measures in at 12MP, and is now almost flush with the devices’ back.

S7 Edge and S7 have the another similarity by carrying an IP68 rated certification, which means they could resist water and dust up to 1.5 metres depth for a period of around 30 minutes without any difficulty. But it has also introduced a new features called “Task Edge” which allows you to put specific tasks to be carried out quickly, such as immediately accessing the selfie camera or going straight to the message thread of a specific contact.

The Galaxy S7 is available from under $53 per month over 24 months, while the Galaxy S7 edge is available from under $60 per month over 24 months, both on the $59.99 open term plan. The new phones come with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The Exynos 8 is the first fully custom CPU from Samsung on their own 14nm LPP process.

This little ball, coupled with one of the latest Samsung’s devices, is one clever piece of technology.

Aside from the usual improvements in performance, battery life, camera, etc. both phones now include a MicroSD card slot which will be a boon for those downloading loads of VR apps and 360 videos.

Samsung has also added an “Always-On Display”, which lets you view notifications on the AMOLED display even when the phone is sleeping.

Colors: In Barcelona, it was revealed the S7 will be available in Gold Platinum, Black Onyx, and White Pearl, and the S7 edge will be available in Gold Platinum, Black Onyx, and Silver Titanium.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but Samsung said to expect similar prices as last year’s S6 line.

EE is accepting pre-orders from consumer and business customers for the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones.

Pre-orders for the two new phones have already gone live in the United Kingdom, but don’t go on pre-order until the 23 February in the US.
