Modi urges youth to take pride in India’s culture
Varanasi/Nagpur: A student who shouted out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi was beaten up allegedly by BJP activists.
Just as Modi completed his speech at the BHU, Ashutosh Singh stood up and raised his demands for holding elections in the university. The world faces several challenges. Along with this, he said that with this today, these students might have resolved to win medals of their own.
He said curiosity was the vital impulse to development and urged scholars to never allow the student in them to die.
He also called on the students to make innovations in the field of medical sciences for diseases, more unsafe than cancer, that affect the tribal areas.
“Besides paying obeisance at Ravidas temple, the leaders should also try to adopt his ideology, only then the poor and downtrodden of the country can benefit”, Mayawati said while referring to Modi’s Varanasi visit. The honour you gave me by inviting me on this occasion of the University’s centenary is enough for me.
The prime minister said that its time that India feel proud of BHU as it did for Nalanda and Takshashila. “I am already indebted to Varanasi for this”, he said.
“We need technology that can help us realize the goal of increasing our solar energy output”, the Prime Minister said.
