A rep for Jeremy McConnell confirms he has split from Stephanie Davis

After their CBB liaison – and confirmation that their relationship is now over – we’re still wondering where it all went wrong with Steph Davis and Jeremy McConnell.

News broke of their split today after Jeremy released a statement which said that he ended the relationship because ‘the pressure of it was just too much’.

Jeremy and Stephanie had been due to appear on Monday’s episode of the daytime chat show in what would have been their first ever joint TV interview. “Everything has changed for me over the weekend”, Davis said. “I’m very upset and think taking a few days is best for me”.

“‘He really wishes it could have worked out and he wishes Steph the very best for the future”. I’m sorry for the people who tried to warn me.

Jeremy shared Stephanie’s tweet, indicating that the man who said the relationship was too high pressure is now fully on-board with their headline-generating romance.

“She couldn’t get hold of him for 24 hours and was really anxious, especially with the recent rumours he cheated on her after a night out”, a source told The Mirror. “He was at a personal appearance in Fife at Kitty’s nightclub and she panicked when she couldn’t reach him”.

As both she and Jez were scheduled to appear on today’s Loose Women, Steph felt unable to come to the studio in person, so sent a message to the panel instead.

Baffled fans replied to Stephanie’s tweets with countless posts of confusion.

The pair have now unfollowed each other on Twitter after getting together last month.

Stephanie tweeted to her 333,000 followers: “Me and jez are still very much together”.

Davis posted a picture three days ago on Instagram wearing a diamond ring and captioned it “A day without you feels like a year”.
