Free Dark Souls With Dark Souls 3 Pre-Order is Xbox Exclusive
The pre-order bonuses for Dark Souls III have been officially announced, with fairly similar offers for each gaming device.
Bandai Namco today confirmed that the Windows PC version of Dark Souls III will be discounted, given certain conditions are met. The bonuses will also come bundled in for the various platforms mentioned above, but with the addition of a Season Pass which gives players the expanded content for Dark Souls III when it becomes available at a later date. STEAM players who already own DARK SOULS and DARK SOULS II in their STEAM Library will receive a $5.00 discount towards their pre-order of DARK SOULS III. The same listing in the Australian Xbox One store also indicated that those who pre-order the game’s digital version will also get a copy of the original “Dark Souls” game.
Xbox One bonuses will include a free copy of the original “Dark Souls”, which can be played in the console due to the backward compatibility functionality of Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 version is also available for pre-order from the PlayStation Store.
Dark Souls 3 hits stores on April 12, 2016.
Dark Souls III is the latest chapter in the critically acclaimed Dark Souls series with its trademark sword and sorcery combat and rewarding action RPG gameplay. The Deluxe Edition costs $84.99/£69.74 and comes with the game’s Season Pass, while the standard edition is priced $59.99/£49.99.
On March 24 Sony are launching yet another special edition PlayStation 4 console, this time it’s From Software’s upcoming Dark Souls III that fits the mold.
