Xbox Live is Down Again After Similar Problems Last Week
Updates seem to work on the US-facing page – you’ll need to click on a specific service, like Xbox Live Core Services, and then hit the Notify me button to sign up. “After we send the notification you requested, we will delete your phone number from our Xbox Live SMS notification system”. “Thanks for your patience in the meantime!” “We’ll update you as soon as we have more information”, says Xbox. And more recently, the Blinkbox app and the Music, TV and Video features are also labeled as limited. VG24/7 reports that this is Xbox Lives eighth outage in eight daysyikes.
The Xbox Live team is aware of the problem and is working on a fix; however, the team has not confirmed what has caused the extended outage.
Xbox Live looks as though its servers are down and might have closed all its services until they can patch things up.
This is not the first time this month that Xbox Live users are facing issues with the services.
In recent months fans have seen some top Xbox 360 games made downloadable by Microsoft, January also saw Deus Ex: Human Revolution and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings made playable on Backwards Compatibility.
While Microsoft has solved the previous issue, a new problem has emerged just within a week. For Xbox users who want to be able to use their PC and Xbox as one cohesive unit, this release is going to be a huge improvement to quality of life, and is going to make the Microsoft ecosystem feel much better.
This service will provide you with an SMS message when the service is back online.
