FLASH, MERA & More Hidden In JUSTICE LEAGUE Director’s Photo With JASON MOMOA
The top left corner includes our first real look at Ezra Miller’s Flash suit, which looks a bit brighter and arguably more comic book-y than the version of the suit featured on The CW’s hit series.
Before starring in Justice League, Miller and Momoa will be appearing as The Flash and Aquaman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice alongside Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. We’ve already seen an official photo of the actor in character from the waist up, but this costume appears to be slightly different than the one from that early image. Next to him, Aquaman’s costume can also be spotted, behind what is likely to be Batman’s all-black get-up.
There are other costumes in the shot but they aren’t quite as clear. Perhaps this is a depiction of Mera, the Queen of Atlantis, who Amber Heard may be on board to play.
This week, it was revealed that Justice League will begin filming on April 11, 2016, which is a big, huge, insane deal for two reasons.
“It was a little bit of an “about time” moment, and I don’t blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it’s a long time coming”, he [Snyder] said.
“The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing”, says Snyder, who also directed 2013’s Man of Steel and has become one of the key figures in shaping DC’s connected film universe. Next year Marvel will present three new movies to challenge The Justice League Part 1 and Wonder Woman, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (May 5), a third reboot of Spider-Man (July 7) and Thor: Ragnarok (Nov. 3).
The DC heroes will unite in “Justice League Part One”, which is slated for a release on November 17, 2017.
The movie that DC fans have been waiting decades for is finally in production.
