Confirmed: Salman Khan To Work With Sooraj Barjatya Again
Well, seeing his stature in the industry we guess it’s a right call from Salman Khan.
Speaking at an awards gala, Salman told Indian Express.com, “I feel happy when others get an award”. I can come and perform, I can attend but the younger generation should get a chance to win the awards, ” he further added. Salman, 50, who was nominated for his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, said that awards are not important for him.
We are all racing against time and we all meet our friends during award functions.
Mumbai: Salman Khan says he likes attending award functions but wishes to stay out of the competition for the awards as the superstar feels it should be an open field for young actors to win these honours. I have been here for 25 years and I think it is time to give the younger generation a chance. I think it should have done a lot better than “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”. We have been here for such a long time and to be nominated is not fair. “Sooraj Barjatya ( Prem Ratan Dhan Payo director) should have got more happiness from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”.
“I have discussed an idea with Salman Khan and I am now working on the script. It is definitely not an action film, so I don’t know who started these rumours”. Salman is playing the role of a wrestler in the film and is getting trained for it.
