Xiaomi Mi 4S unveiled ahead of the flagship Mi 5 launch

And, now we know a bit more about the Xiaomi Mi 5 because an online etailer has listed the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 on its website already-along with the specifications and prices. The smartphone is powered by the Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7 custom software; there was no official word on the Android Marshmallow update for Mi 5 at the event. The second variant is priced at 2299 Yuan and will have SD 820 clocking at 2.15GHz and pack 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage options. The new Xiaomi Mi 5 will come in 3 variants in terms of specs: there will be two versions with 3GB RAM and one with 4GB RAM.
In the photography department, both smartphones come equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash.
The images also show that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch full-HD screen. The standout feature is the glass back panel – a material it introduced with the Mi Note – which now curves at the left and right-hand side towards the metal rail.
Xiaomi Mi 5 pricing varies according to model. The flagship will draw its power from the top of the line Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with a range topping 4GB LPDDR4 RAM (on 128GB only) and an Adreno 530 GPU. It is powered by a 3260mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support. However, Xiaomi has not yet revealed whether the Mi 4S will retail outside China region. It supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.
