Chrissy Teigen tells all about IVF: John Legend ‘deserves a little girl’
The 30-year-old beauty – who is expecting her first child with husband John Legend – was bombarded with calls from fans who bought her new cook book “Cravings” and spied the digits on one of the pages.
Supermodel Chrissy Teigen, not only picked her baby-to-be’s gender-she selected which specific embryo she wanted implanted in her uterus.
Apparently, it wasn’t just the outfit choices that had her wanting a little girl.
Twitter blew up with people saying that was a bad idea or talking s**t on Teigen as to which she replied:”The recommendation of a night nurse!” She says that she wants to see firsthand the phenomenon that occurs when men raise a daughter so that she can witness “how soft they get, how mushy, and excited they get”. “I think he deserves that bond”.
But Teigen also goes divulges that a “boy will come along” at some point in the future. When asked by Us Weekly what the best nugget of advice she’s received to date was, the model responded: “The recommendation of a night nurse!” “But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. I’m excited to see that part of John”, she reveals.
A glowing Chrissy Teigen was pretty in pink Tuesday night.
Legend and Teigen married in 2013 and announced the model’s pregnancy in October.
Choosing a baby’s sex is possible through preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) or preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), optional add-ons some fertility clinics offer with their IVF treatments, which some people find controversial.
