Cincinnati Horseshoe Casino getting a new name

Later on down the line, Detroit Casino-Hotel Greektown will take on the JACK name as well. This change will affect the casinos owned by the brand, all of which are located within the state of OH and city of Detroit, Michigan. “And it’s just sort of a fun and mischievous, perhaps, attitude that we think will add a little bit of approachability to the gaming customer”.

Mark Dunkeson, president and chief operating officer of Jack Entertainment, said the rebranding effort will cost “north of $40 million” when all is completed.

“As we bought out Caesars, which is our partner here in Ohio (Rock Gaming bought Greektown Casino in 2013), obviously we had to rebrand it”, he said.

The Horseshoe Cincinnati is getting a new name: Jack Cincinnati Casino.

These properties will be renamed with JACK ThistleDown Racino to debut in early March.

The company also announced a new rewards program.

Rock Gaming will become JACK Entertainment, according to the company.
