Hillary Clinton to return to Arkansas on Sunday

Three former governors, 16 lawmakers and the chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party are helping Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid in Arkansas as next week’s primary approaches.

The event is free and open to the public. Participants must register in advance. Bernie Sanders of Vermont for the Democratic presidential nomination. “This is going to be a great election campaign for Democrats”.

A spokesman for Clinton’s Arkansas campaign, Hillary for Arkansas, wrote that the people on the list chose Clinton because of her commitment to raising the minimum wage, protecting civil rights and expending opportunities in higher education and health care. But she is not scheduled to visit Beaufort County.

Prior to Clinton’s visit, the Virginia Communications Director for the Republican National Committee called Bill Clinton’s campaign stop a “red flag” for his wife’s campaign. “Hillary thinks America never stopped being great, but she wants to run to make America whole again where we can all rise together”, Clinton said. SC holds its primary Saturday, and 11 states, including Arkansas, hold primaries and caucuses March 1.
