Harry Reid endorses Hillary Clinton for president
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is endorsing Hillary Clinton just days after the former secretary of state won the Democratic caucuses in his home state of Nevada.

According to CNN, Reid called Sanders to tell him about the endorsement beforehand. Bernie Sanders know about his plans to endorse Clinton over the phone, and that the Vermont senator was “so magnanimous, so kind and courteous”. She started the trend toward looking to do something about health care.
He added, “She’s a person who’s a very quick learner”. He wanted the Nevada caucus to be a real fight between democrats, firing up the base and getting them out and registered to vote. Clinton now has 452 superdelegates to Sanders’ 19.
Reid called Sanders Tuesday to deliver the news personally.

Reid is the highest ranking Democratic official to support Clinton’s campaign, but he didn’t back off his prediction that the battle for the Democratic nomination could last a few more months. Bernie Sanders about his endorsement before the announcement was made public.
Reid would not criticize Sanders. Clinton also has secured the backing of Rep. Jim Clyburn of SC, the assistant Democratic leader in the House.
