Trump Wins Nevada Caucus
With the victory, the frontrunner proves again he can compete in GOP votes across the nation.
Trump’s speech lasted about 10 minutes and he did not attack Cruz or Rubio directly.
But Trump, whose landslide victory in the Nevada caucuses Tuesday night charged his already surging campaign full of even more momentum, showed no signs of fading on Wednesday. Rubio eked out another second-place showing, and Cruz came in a close third.
“Of course, if you listen to the pundits, we weren’t expected to win too much – and now we’re winning, winning, winning the country”. The former reality television star tweeted on Tuesday, “He used him as a scape goat-fired like a dog!”
Surely, Nevada would be the place he’d win.
Count Tracy Brigida, fed up after her husband was laid off from his mining job, among those caucusing for Trump.

“He’s the most level-headed”. “They’ll be very happy about it. Believe me, I’ll talk to them”.
It was Cruz for Megan Ortega, who declared: “He’s consistent, he’s bold and he’s a class act”. He has won caucus and primary states, moderates and evangelicals. He says what he wants to say, when he wants to say it. Winning one or more of them is possible.
Plan B: Win Nevada after going 0-3 to open the race so that Rubio survives to compete in his home state primary.
Stanley S. Hubbard, chairman of Hubbard Broadcasting in Minnesota who has considered supporting several of the Republican candidates, is one of those watching to see how Rubio holds up in the debate and the rest of the race.
The next big test for Trump and the other candidates is March 1. Cruz insists that he’s the only Republican contender who can take down Trump.
Going into Tuesday’s caucuses, Trump led with 68 delegates to Cruz’s 11 and Rubio’s 9.
The contest was the fourth for the Republican presidential candidates, with Mr Trump so far winning in New Hampshire and SC.
One-time favorite Jeb Bush dropped out of the race following a poor showing in the SC primary, while Kasich and Carson have continued on.
