The new features are rolling out today for all Gmail for Android users. The latter move eliminates the need to open a separate app to schedule a meeting.

As for instant RSVPs, if you use Google Calendar or Microsoft Exchange, you’ll start to see boxes appear in emails with options of “Yes”, “Maybe”, and “No” when you receive a calendar invite.
According to Google’s statistics, more than two-thirds of Gmail users actually use the service on a mobile platform. The features are aimed at making it easier for users to manage their inbox on the go.
Google released an update for its Gmail app for Android users that now includes rich text formatting and instant RSVPs.
Yet another significant change coming to the updated Gmail mobile app is in the manner the app handles calendar invitations. Instant RSVPs informs the user about what time the event is and who sent the invitation.
Rich Text Formatting integration is fairly straightforward – you’ll see new buttons in your email compose interface that will allow you to add bold, italic, underlined, coloured and highlighted text to your emails. Just last week, the company launched a new Gmailify feature that allows users to benefit from Gmail’s best functionalities on their Yahoo!, Hotmail and Outlook accounts. The updated app should arrive on the Google Play store any minute.
