Mad semi truck jumps off a ramp and soars into the air
This weekend, a stunt driver by the name of Geoffrey Godfrey set out to break the world record for jumping a semi truck.
Gregg Godfrey has yet again taken to the skies in a big rig to set a new record by leaping 166 feet across two mounds of dirt in a spectacular stunt. The man behind the wheel, one hand brazenly honking the horn, the other hand steering it towards glory, is named Gregg Godfrey, and this jump results in one heck of a recovery. Godfrey flew an impressive 166 feet in the air on Friday at the Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Montana before safely landing his rig and completing his parking job.
The previous record, according to Fox Sports, was held by Mike Ryan, who jumped 83 feet a year ago.
Auto jumps are cool enough as is, but there’s something magical about a truck floating dozens of feet above the ground.
