Roman Reigns ATTACKED By Triple H – Surgery SHOCKER (Inside Story)
Well, it has been a week, hasn’t it WWE fans. There is no word on what he will do and we most likely won’t know until he gets on TV.
Read on for all the results from this week’s SmackDown, including a confirmation that The Undertaker will appear on next week’s RAW.
Triple H eliminated Royal Rumble defending champion, Roman Reigns, then eliminated Dean Ambrose to secure his second Royal Rumble win and 14th World Championship earlier in the year. King Barrett teamed with his fellow League of Nations colleagues Rusev, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio to take on The Lucha Dragons, Neville and Dolph Ziggler.
Aside from that most recent MSG match, Triple H has a long and at times controversial history at the venue. He offers Dean Ambrose a rematch and boasts that he beats everyone he challenges. Owens thinks he has the night off, but instead he has a match with a very angry Big Show. Owens taunts him with retirement jokes. After all four men competed in their matches, they engaged in an incident known as “The Curtain Call” in which the Kliq members – minus Waltman- embraced each other as a farewell. Sasha Banks made the save, and it was announced that Lynch would face Banks on Raw to determine the No. 1 contender for the Divas title at Wrestlemania.
Bo Dallas distracts the referee, and Goldust hits Heath Slater, leading to R-Truth getting the backslide pin for the victory.
Not even some slick trumpet work could help The New Day, as Styles and Jericho showed off some impressive teamwork. He pulled the Calf Crusher to force Xavier Woods to tap out.
WWE SmackDown airs at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday on the USA Network. The new trio mockingly danced to end the show.
