“There is no-one who is better prepared to provide America with the strong leadership that it needs both at home and around the world than Donald Trump”.
Cruz was left out of the equation entirely; Christie did not talk about Cruz in his endorsement of Trump, but instead attacked Rubio, seeming to cast Rubio as Trump’s sole remaining rival.
Christie said Trump “will do what needs to be done to protect the American people”.
“How does this guy, not one tweet, but three tweets, spell words so badly?”
“It’s Rubio!” Trump mimicked, spilling water and pretending to desperately need a sip.
“What’s that tell you about what we can expect if things go sideways when you go into the Oval Office?” “I don’t know how he got that wrong since the E and O are nowhere near each other on the keyboard”, Rubio joked to supporters in Dallas. Donald Trump and Marco Rubio just can’t help themselves, and their political punch-for-punch keeps getting weirder.
