3 stabbed at KKK gathering in Southern California
Two KKK members were stomped on by counter protestors, one of whom complained of having broken ribs, police said.
A KKK rally was interrupted with bloodshed after multiple were stabbed.
The Klan members attempted to get back into the auto, but it sped off, leaving them behind, said Dion Garcia, 37.
Sergeant Wyatt said at least three counter-protesters and possibly a fourth were stabbed in the ensuing confrontation.
The brawl between the Klansmen and anti-KKK counter-protesters left at least one man in critical condition. One person is in custody in one of the stabbings.

At some point during the violence, one of the counter-protestors collapsed on the ground bleeding, calling out that he had been stabbed.
According to ABC News affiliate KABC-TV, police said Klan members were attacked by counter-protesters at Pearson Park on Saturday where the rally was set to be held. At the bottom of the fliers came the source: “Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan”. “All our jobs are being outsourced right now, and what jobs are left here, black and white Americans are being forced to have a competition with the Mexicans coming across the border, because they’ll do the job cheaper”, he said in 2014.
Ada Briceño, interim executive director of Orange County Communities Organized for Responsible Development, a local advocacy organization, said she was disappointed to hear about the event. The university said Friday that although there is no evidence that any information has been stolen, it has notified potential victims of the breach so they can watch for signs of possible misuse of their personal data. Police said ahead of time via Twitter they were aware of the protest, but some questioned why more officers were not on hand.
It was not clear what, if any, connection the event organizers had to the Anaheim area, but the group has a long and troubling history with the city.
The Klan, which was formed in 1865, had up to four million members in the 1920s, but its membership has dwindled to between 5,000 and 8,000 individuals today, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
