€14 million deal: Sulley Muntari reaches agreement with Al-Ittihad
The Ghanaian FA has announced via Twitter that midfielder Sulley Muntari has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad on a two-year contract.
The Ghanaian midfielder’s contract with the Rossoneri was cancelled last month following his request not to be selected for any matches since April.
Sulley Muntari has insisted that he has no problem with anyone at AC Milan after securing a move to Al-Ittihad.
Despite the departure of Inzaghi, Muntari was deemed surplus to requirement under new manager Sinisa Mihajlovic ahead of the 2015-16 season.
“I always want to win, with Inzaghi that didn’t happen, but never mind. I love Kotoko and would love to play for them one day”. [CEO Adriano] Galliani has always been honest with me, I couldn’t get into a fight with Milan.
The Ghana global has penned a two year deal for €2.5millions per season.
