Anthony Martial: Forward injured for Manchester United

Van Gaal was encouraged by Depay’s performance against Midtjylland and said Morgan Schneiderlin played his best game to date. “We’re very happy to go through and we have to keep this spirit as we move on to Sunday”, Depay said.

He will need at least two weeks to regain match fitness, so he is likely to be sidelined until the beginning of April.

Van Gaal praised Martial for ruling himself out of the tie as he could have made it worse.
