Slashy Souls; One Game You Shouldn’t Play Even for Free
It’s a new trailer for the highly anticipated Dark Souls III, which is due for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 12, 2016. It does have elements from the old games, such as, spells, weapons, and bosses, but nothing to keep players wanting more. The point of the game is to wade your way through levels filled with Hollows and other casual Dark Souls cameos (I swear that was Nito at one point) while making use of the seemingly simple yet rather hard to perform controls.
The game has a mediocre 2.5 rating on Google Play Store, and has been described as “sloppily done” and its combat as “mindless and boring”. Titled Slashy Souls, the new game will be available for both iOS and Android devices beginning tomorrow, February 28. Which, if you look at a calendar isn’t all that far away. Oh, and you collect Estus. Even if we’re talking about a 16-bit adaptation of the much acclaimed series. And when you die, familiar text splatters onto the screen. This was just made to make you pre order dark souls 3 at GameStop. We’re sure the community might have some qualms with that bold a claim, but hopefully Slashy Souls makes for an entertaining and challenging addition to public transit commutes and boring boardroom meetings everywhere. Have you played it and want to share your experience?
