Donald Trump Raped His Ex Wife?! Ivana Trump Speaks Out
Do you think Donald Trump really “violated” his ex-wife?
Morning Joe co-hosts Mika Brzezinski took a page out of Megyn Kelly’s book when Daily Beast correspondent Tim Mak came on Wednesday morning to discuss the website’s story about Donald Trump’s alleged rape of ex-wife Ivana Trump.
The story on Michael Cohen is not over. And, of course, understand that by the very definition, you can’t rape your spouse. And I knew even before The Donald went on Greta Van Susteren’s show that he would use it to attack the media, and that his words would resonate. She acknowledges she referred to it as a “rape”, but said, “I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense”.
“I will make sure that you and I meet one day while we’re in the courthouse. And I think your paper’s a joke, and it’s going to be my absolute pleasure to serve you with a $500 million lawsuit, like I told [you] I did it to Univision”.
Now she has issued a statement supporting the man she famously called “The Donald“, saying “I have recently read some comments attributed to me from almost 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit”, explained the socialite, who was married to the businessman from 1977 to 1992.
A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign said Trump “didn’t know of Mr. Cohen’s comments, but disagrees with him”. At the time, Ivana Trump provided a statement that was published in the book that said, “I felt violated” during the 1989 incident. And I will come after your Daily Beast and everybody else that you possibly know.
This story has surfaced again because a reporter from The Daily Beast brought it up-and Donald Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, had a pretty intense reaction. In fact, a New York marital rape exemption to the law did formerly exist, but it was struck down in 1984. “Rarely am I surprised by the press, but the gall of this particular reporter to make such a reprehensible and false allegation against Mr Trump truly stunned me”.
When Donald and Ivana Trump had the ugly breakup that turned into a tabloid war, I was all over it.
The lawyer also allegedly threatened The Daily Beast. “Trump” by Harry Hurt, relying on details in the deposition. That’s right. He said, I made an inarticulate comment which I do not believe and which I apologize for entirely. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.'”. Newt Gingrich faced similar questions about his three marriages in 2012, and savaged CNN’s John King for asking about it at the beginning of a debate.
“Nobody speaks for Mr. Trump but Mr. Trump”, a Trump campaign spokesperson said Monday night.
But the marital rape comments are not the only thing Cohen said that has people upset.
