Sen. Ted Cruz to hold rally at HBU Monday night

“That have become angry, that Washington and the elected political class have started to ignore the people, the voters”, Cruz said.

On top of protecting Constitutional freedoms, she promised Cruz would appoint a strict constructionist to the US Supreme Court.

At stake are 155 Republican delegates and 252 Democratic ones, though 30 of those are superdelegates who can support anyone at the party’s convention. In Nacogdoches, she specifically addressed the suggestion that her husband’s campaign is doomed if he does not do well in his home state.

Heidi Cruz called that line of attack “absolutely inconsistent” with what she knows of her husband’s character.

“I just have to challenge you”, Heidi Cruz told the crowd in Nacogdoches.

Texas is the largest state holding its presidential primary on Super Tuesday and could make or break the campaign of native son Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-Fla.) campaign vowing to go all the way to convention. Joined by Gov. Greg Abbott and former Gov. Rick Perry, he plans to hold two other rallies later Sunday, one in San Antonio then one in Houston. “Don’t disappoint Ted on Tuesday”.
