Carcassonne is the latest addition to the Xbox One backward compatibility list
Starting this week, Xbox One members in the preview program will be receiving a system update that enables Xbox 360 game purchases directly in the Xbox One store on the console.
These are the big updates coming to the Xbox One OS in March. With over 100 titles available now, and hundreds more in the months to come, Xbox One is now the best place to play your Xbox 360 games.
As seen up top, features now available for Xbox One Preview include the ability to buy Xbox 360 backward compatible games directly on Xbox One; members can now search for these releases as they would Xbox One downloadable games. “You can also include party members on Windows 10 PCs in your Twitch broadcast”. Another useful feature which is being rolled out with the upcoming Xbox One Preview Update is adjustable game-DVR recording length.
Xbox record that can now be either 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes or 5 minutes. Users can also customize their Game DVR recording length, track achievement progress from the Xbox One guide, and watch videos directly from the Xbox One Activity Feed.
– Gamerscore Leaderboard: In the Xbox app (beta), fans will be able to enjoy the same Gamerscore Leaderboard feature introduced to Xbox One last month. In either instance, the offer will be applied instantly at checkout with your Microsoft account, and will be redeemable ten days after the game has been downloaded or delivered. Developers will be able to deep link into the Xbox One’s web browser directly from their Game Hub, something that they can’t do if they want to highlight a feature or showcase a video that’s not available directly through Xbox Live.
Reports also say that one of the most popular titles on Xbox One backwards compatibility program is tipped to be released at the end of February.
