The Undertaker returns; issues a scary warning to Mr. McMahon
The Deadman then came out and held Mr. McMahon by the neck and issued him a scary warning as what will happen inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania once the cage doors are closed.
The work from the Billion Dollar Princess was so strong that one nearly wonders why WWE didn’t program Shane against Triple H in a Winner Takes All match, rather than a nonsensical feud with The Undertaker. Ambrose eventually challenged him for the championship after saying he was the one the champion didn’t want to win the Triple Threat Match at Fastlane.
This puts the WrestleMania main event in jeopardy as Triple H was set to face Roman Reigns at AT&T Stadium at WrestleMania 32 on April 3rd.
Sheamus & Rusev (with King Barrett & Alberto Del Rio) def. The Lucha Dragons by Rusev pinning Kalisto following a kick to the head following a distraction from Alberto Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio by disqualification after the League of Nations interfered and attacked Ambrose.
The show began with Triple H marching to the ring and reiterating his promo from last week’s SmackDown. Charlotte interrupts, and announces that Banks and Lynch will have a rematch to determine the #1 Contender for Charlotte’s Divas Championship. The champions even pulled off a card trick in the middle of it – who else has ever done that? Now with a place at Wrestlemania on the line, these two highly-talented Divas are expected to give their all in a match that could change their respective careers.
Brock Lesnar was the man to end the streak back at WrestleMania XXX in a moment which rocked the wrestling world.
It is impossible to look back at the February 29 episode of WWE Raw and not recognize Dean Ambrose as the biggest victor of the broadcast.
Match 5 – New Day vs A.J. Styles and Chris Jericho: As per usual, the New Day had a promo before the match.
