ABC cancels country music drama ‘Nashville’ after 4 seasons
A day after ABC canceled the show after four seasons, “Nashville” co-producer Lionsgate said Friday that it is shopping the show to other networks and digital services.
While stars Hayden Panettiere has not yet commented on the cancellation, Connie Britton, Charles Esten, Aubrey Peeples, Chris Carmack, and more have tweeted to their fans.
The show’s fourth season finale will now act as its series finale on Wednesday, May 25th.
Star Joshua Sasse had been making tracks away from Galavant since the beginning of this pilot season, and he’s now locked down a series regular gig on the recently greenlit CW series No Tomorrow.
