Street Fighter V Story Mode Detailed
The Street Fighter V story expansion is making June a big month for Capcom‘s premiere fighter.
The story mode is coming as the “Cinematic Story Expansion” DLC for Street Fighter V and it will be free for those who have already bought the game.
The new story, which Capcom described as “a 3-4 hour experience”, is said to connect the gap between “Street Fighter IV” and “Street Fighter III”.
With the “Street Fighter 5” story mode, Capcom is basically giving players a chance to try out the DLC fighters sooner than anticipated, although the developer cautions that they are not tournament-ready and are still subject to change.
Shadaloo, led by M. Bison, are planning to overtake the world and fill it with darkness.
Although it is frustrating for fans to wait another month for Ibuki, not to mention Capcom’s silence about the matter, the end of June will be exciting for avid followers of the “Street Fighter 5” DLC.
At the current exchange rate, that works out to be $8.05 for new characters, $5.36 for new stages and premium costumes and $2.67 for alternate stages and story costumes for Australians. Fight Money remains as the basic currency that players can earn for FREE through gameplay and utilise to purchase characters and other awesome downloadable content like stages and costumes. It is up to our popular “Street Fighter” heroes Ryu and Ken and heroine Chun-Li to stop the “Black Moons” before it destroys the world.
Along the way, they encounter the rest of the World Warriors, each of whom have their own agendas and motivations in mind.
Capcom planned to implement Zenny, which you’d purchase with real money and use on items in the store.
Most fighting games are better off played with friends and strangers across the globe.
When the June Update goes live, Alex and Guile will no longer be available as a free trial. This feature is now officially named “Targets”, and will allow players to earn money by completing specific challenges ala Hearthstone’s Daily Quests. Balrog’s crouch jab in Street Fighter V has been made to be slower in order to prevent spamming, VentureBeat reported. To make the mode much more interesting, players will get to use a bunch of different characters during the story expansion.
