HoloLens which is produced by Microsoft is making a step forward for their virtual reality platform.
MICROSOFT Corp is now inviting its Windows 10 hardware partners to create virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality devices, and everything in between, with Windows Holographic, the platform that powers Microsoft HoloLens.
Both apps are built on the Universal Windows Platform (UWP), which delivers a familiar app experience across devices.
Microsoft hasn’t written these apps specially for HoloLens. If you’re already using Outlook on a smartphone, tablet or PC, your inbox will look the same through HoloLens. However, in Computex, which is ongoing in Taipei, the software major indicated that it will be offering its Holographic platform to other companies and third parties so that they can develop their own gear for it.
