Here’s what to expect from Apple’s big developer conference
Browser: Most of us will need to watch the keynote via our browsers, so just click on the link to the Apple’s WWDC website to stream it.
This report has a very high chance of making it to the WWDC, which is set to take place on Monday, June 13.
But now that you know when it is, why should you care?
It’s possible that this plays into recent reports suggested Apple is planning to bring fingerprint sensors to its range of MacBook laptops. The feature is actually nothing new to some Apple users as this has already been done in Maps app and was available when OS X Yosemite was released.
There have even been apps created that will allow iMessaging services on Android devices, but as always, there’s a catch.
Nearly ever since Siri arrived on iOS we’ve been waiting for it to jump to OS X, and yesterday developer Brian Roemmele stumbled upon a mention of Finder in the voice-controlled digital assistant. It might also roll out new features for services including Apple Pay, iMessage, and iCloud, but will probably not introduce hardware such as an updated MacBook Pro or brand new Thunderbolt Display.
If the rumour is true, then it would join the other three apps Apple has on Android: Beats Pill+, Apple Music and Move to iOS, a way to transfer data from your Android device to a new iPhone or iPad.
This year conference is going to held from 13th to 17th June and the lottery which is priced of $1599 will be distributed by lottery system.
2016 is just around the corner and the company is expected to reveal several things at the event, which includes the latest versions of iOS, OS X, tvOS, watchOS and several more. I’d love to see Apple Pay for the Web launch alongside iOS 10; it’s something I could see myself using a lot, and it’d be nice to reduce my dependence on PayPal.
Obviously, iOS doesn’t have a Finder app but OS X does.
A Siri SDK: Perhaps one of the most-prominent rumors is that the Apple voice assistant, Siri, may get a software development kit, or SDK, which will enable the voice assistant to work with third-party apps in more-integrated ways.
