Read for the Win with the Santa Clarita Public Library

Blackwater Regional Library (includes libraries in Franklin, Isle of Wight, Southampton, Surry and Sussex): Read for the Win! program open to children, teens and adults.

This free program will encourage youth to “Read for the Win” during the summer months, by inviting them to track their reading progress to earn prizes and to attend free events at the library. Kicks off Friday. Info: www.hampton.gov/index.aspx?nid=2216.

Participants receive reading lists and engage in educational activities at their local libraries.

The Friends of the Dayton Valley Library is sponsoring Summer Reading for adults starting with a kick-off event from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 in the Dayton Valley Branch Library, 321 Old Dayton Valley Road, Dayton.

New Canaan’s summer reading program for kids starts up, June 19. Online and in-person registration begins Monday.
