South Park: The Fractured But Whole Coming December 6
In a series of videos during Ubisoft’s press conference today, South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker showed off different aspects of the game, including a new tactical combat system (with a grid!) and various interactive objects.
The demo starts in what looks like the kid heroes’ home base, located in, appropriately, Cartman’s basement. Of course, the game will mock the recent trend of superhero movie franchises to no end throughout the plot, which has Cartman and friends divided (in a civil war of sorts) over how they should structure their movie releases. Farting is also important in this game, you can use it to go back in time, maybe mix up who attacks first or to regain some health. Unlike in Stick of Truth, in Fractured But Whole you’re not restricted to a location. We are introduced to the main character you play as, who has to have a tragic superhero backstory. You can pick up ‘South Park: “The Fractured but Whole” starting December 6, 2016. Some new details were shared regarding some of the new gameplay mechanics coming to this sequel, as well as the game’s release date.
The Fractured But Whole starts off where Stick of Truth ended-them throwing the stick away-and moves the kids from playing fantasy to dressing up as superheroes. You can also rearrange the turn order.
