[E3 2016] ReCore Gets a Release Date, is Cross Buy with PC
We’re expected the game to be showcased at Microsoft’s E3 conference tomorrow, with a trailer and possibly a live demo as well.
We already knew that Microsoft was going to reveal more information about the new ReCore game at E3 this year but it looks like we won’t have to wait for their conference to start to hear about its arrival date.
ReCore is due out this year, and you can check out the trailer below. Seth The Escape Artist is and spider like robot, and like the name suggests Seth will help Joule to traverse different types of environments and can also attack other hostile machines. The main hero, Joule, was seen with her robotic companions Mack, Duncan and Seth. Should brute force be required, however, Duncan the heavy hitter may be the best bet, with the large robot likely to take on all comers.
Joule has her own weapons in ReCore like the hook, which she can use those to pull blue cores from the machines, as of what is their use is yet unknown. She can also double jump, flawless for those platform-like levels.
What’s more, the trailer also gave a brief overview of the game’s setting.
In addition Xbox has listed the release date as the 13th September 2016 and is coming as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, meaning you can buy it on Windows 10 or Xbox One, and play the game on either device.
