New E3 Trailer for Detroit: Become Human
The game caused quite some waves when it was shown off at Sony’s Paris Games Week previous year, it is being developed by Quantic Dream, the same studio behind the ground-breaking thriller Heavy Rain, and Beyond: Two Souls for the PlayStation 3.
Like other Quantic Dream games, Detroit: Become Human is likely to be a game aimed at mature adults.
According to Quantic Dream director David Cage, Connor is another android and one of several playable characters in the game.
Detroit is a neo-noir thriller set in the near-future city of Detroit.
The game is set in the futuristic city of Detroit, in which human-like androids are utilised to complete numerous tedious tasks and roles that humans no longer want. Connor is an advanced prototype assigned to police forces to help them investigate cases involving deviants.
The trailer announcing the game showcased Conner, an Android, as he attempted to save a girl stuck in a hostage situation by another Android. Whether or not the girl survives is up to you. Players will be faced with all sorts of moral and ethical dilemmas, all of which appear to affect the outcome in different ways. Every character in the game can die, and the story will continue without them.
No release date has been given.
